What information do I collect?
To fulfil your order, I may collect certain information including:
- email & postal address
- details of your event (date, location, contact name & details)
- payment details
What do I do with the information I have collected?
The information is collected purely for the purposes of understanding your requirements, to provide you with the best service & experience, in particular for the following reasons:
- internal record keeping
- to enable me to respond to your enquiries and fulfil your orders
- to periodically contact you with special offers or services which may be of interest
- to obtain feedback from you or request a testimonial/review
- to improve products and services
Your personal information will not be shared with any other party unless you specifically instruct me to do so, or if I am required to do so by law.
I am committed to ensuring your information is secure and in order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure of your personal information, I have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information I collect.
I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil your order, usually for a period of 3 years. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations i.e. in accordance with HMRC requirements and FSA (Food Standards Agency) regulations. Personal information is securely disposed of by means of shredding (printed files/documents) and deletion (electronic files).
You have the right to request and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. I will provide this information within 21 days of date of request. You also have the right to request that your data is deleted and should do so by emailing in the same way. Please bear in mind that certain information does need to be retained for a certain period time to fulfil legal and regulatory requirement (please see Data Retention above).
